CSW/Stuber-Stroeh Engineering Group Inc., the fourth-largest civil and structural engineering firm in the North Bay, will be moving its Novato office this fall to make room for the proposed Whole Foods Market-anchored mixed-use site at De Long and Reichart avenues.

The 50-year-old firm has been at 790 De Long Ave. for nearly three decades. San Francisco-based Lelanne Group and Pleasanton-based Signature Properties, which are developing the Whole Foods project's retail and housing elements, respectively, acquired 790 De Long in late May. The store would be built on that site.

In September, CSW is set to move to about half of a 30,500-square-foot building at 45 Leveroni Court in Lakepoint Business Park in Novato. Construction intelligence publisher Crittenden occupies a quarter of the building. The building closed escrow June 2 for $4.95 million, according to public records.

The buyer of 45 Leveroni was 790 Delong Avenue LLC, which is composed of principals of Signature and Lelanne, according to public records.

Ralph Cole of Orion Partners and John Williams of Sperry Van Ness represented 790 Delong in the reverse exchange transaction. The previous owner was Flaming Properties, made up of principals of Sutter Instrument, which was represented by Peter Gettner of HL Commercial.
